Life is all about change. Life changes because of personal choices, circumstances, opinions, and ideas, whether they our own or someone else’s.

As someone who was raised to say “how high” when my parents said “jump!” I realize that making a knowledgeable, well-thought-out decision is pertinent to a healthy life-style. While allowing others to help guide you is definitely a good idea, it is also great to be self-informed as well and to do a little digging yourself. At least that’s what I’ve found.

I am now approaching what I think some call middle-age (but who says I’m going to die at 80, anyway??) and a wife and a mother. I have worked in the “real “world, traveled 3 continents, lost money, made money, stayed at home, gone to college, survived life-threatening illnesses, you name it. I bet there is something somewhere in my history that we can name as having in common! C’mon, try me. ;)

My hope for this blog is to provide a resource for you to make well-informed decisions on various topics that you will find listed in the sidebar. If nothing else, maybe we can just chat or follow one another’s blogs.
